Trainer Assessor / IQA – CK Assessment & Training

CK Assessment & Training is seeking a qualified and experienced Trainer Assessor / IQA to join our team.

This role is suited to industry professionals who already have the skills, knowledge, and experience to deliver and assess at a high level.

We are looking for someone who can step into the role confidently and contribute immediately to both delivery and quality assurance.

About the Role

You will play a key role in delivering and maintaining high standards across our plumbing and gas provision.

Responsibilities include:
• Delivering high-quality, industry-relevant training 
• Assessing learners in both centre and workplace environments 
• Carrying out progress reviews and supporting timely achievement 
• Working closely with employers to maintain strong outcomes 
• Supporting and contributing to internal quality assurance (IQA) 

This is a professional role requiring independence, strong organisation, and a clear understanding of training standards.

What We’re Looking For

We are specifically seeking candidates who already meet the requirements of the role.

You will ideally have:
• A Level 3 qualification in Plumbing, Gas, or a related discipline 
• Proven industry experience within the trade 
• Experience in training, assessing, or mentoring learners 
• Relevant qualifications such as: 
  – Assessing qualification (TAQA / A1 / CAVA) 
  – Teaching qualification (AET / PTLLS or equivalent) 
  – IQA qualification (highly desirable) 

Candidates should be capable of delivering and assessing without the need for initial training into the role.
