Plumbing Courses and Qualifications

This is one of our great plumbing training courses to start on the pathway to a successful plumbing career. Building your skills and knowledge to progress onto level 2. You do not need to be employed in plumbing to take this course. There are no minimum requirements for Maths and English GCSEs or functional skills on entry. Many of our students benefit from government funding.

This course only has one start date per year, which is usually in late August. All tools and materials for the course are provided to our students. This course typically runs for two days per week and lasts approximately 40 weeks. This City and Guilds qualification provides you with the knowledge and skills to begin a career in plumbing at a more introductory level.

One of our plumbing training courses ideal for those new to plumbing, with no prior qualifications or experience required. Suitable for people of all ages, from school leavers through to those changing careers. You do not need to be employed in plumbing to take this course. Many of our students benefit from Government funding and with regular course dates starting throughout the year. We believe we are the perfect match for you.

All tools and materials are provided to our students. Courses typically run for two days per week and last approximately six months. We also support improving maths and English. Work experience may be provided to you alongside this course. This City and Guilds qualification provides you with the knowledge and skills to begin a career in plumbing.

One of our plumbing training courses that demonstrates your capabilities as a plumber in the workplace. Requires completion of level 2 Diploma in Plumbing, either beforehand or alongside.

With regular course dates starting throughout the year we believe we are the perfect match for you. You must be working alongside a qualified plumber to allow you to build your portfolio of evidence. Your Assessor will visit you in the workplace to assess your skills and provide guidance and support along the way. This course typically takes 6-12 months to complete.

A comprehensive qualification for people who have completed our plumbing training courses and want to develop their plumbing and heating careers through becoming qualified in gas. This course is suitable for students of all ages. In completing this course, you will achieve an Advanced Apprenticeship Standard at level 3. Core Domestic Gas (CCN1), three elements including CPA1, MET1 and CENWAT are included. Completion of this course you will be eligible for Gas Safe Register.

Unvented hot water (G3 is also included with this course). To undertake this qualification you must be employed in the plumbing/gas industry, for 30 hours per week or more. Requires a minimum of level 2 Apprenticeship/NVQ in Plumbing or an Advanced Diploma in plumbing at level 3. Maths and English at GCSE grade C/4 or functional skills level 2 for entry to the course.

Many students benefit from full or partial government funding, start dates for this course are available throughout the year. The course typically runs for around 18 months, one day per week day release required for practical and theory training. All tools and materials are provided for day release training. This course provides you with a full range of the qualifications required to be considered a qualified domestic gas engineer.
